RESEARCH PROJECT
In June, Sandi spent the day at the British Library in the Archives. She and Dr. Owen Emmerson studied a famous document held by the Archives—the one known as the Tower Letter. This letter, which many believe was authored by Queen Anne Boleyn while imprisoned, has caused debate over its many centuries of existence.
Sandi is currently working with a research partner on the study of not only the age of the document preserved by the Library, but also analyzing the content of the letter using automated techniques to determine if, in fact, Anne was the originator of it.
Look for some social media updates about this project in the coming months. A new book detailing the unique analysis will result in early 2025.
